HipHopCitizen.com Exclusive · "Arrested for Being Too Damn Live" · Acting a Fool Ain't Content · Livestreams Have Consequences. This Wasn't Content. It Was a Crime.
At approximately 2 a.m. on the morning of May 27, 2026, Miami Beach police were called to a yacht docked near the 200 block of North Shore Drive. The subject of that call was Nurideen Shabazz — known online as DeenTheGreat — a 25-year-old IRL streamer, influencer boxer, and the highly visible streaming partner of four-time boxing world champion Adrien Broner. By 4 a.m. he was in handcuffs at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, booked on a felony charge of robbery/strongarm/attempt. Over 30,000 people watched it happen live on Kick.

What Happened on That Yacht
The Incident — North Shore Drive Marina · Miami Beach · May 27, 2026 · ~2:00 AM
On the Yacht
A woman identified by police as Destiny Aleman is on the yacht — the same yacht where Adrien Broner had earlier been seen on stream interacting with a young woman who appeared to reject his advances. Deen allegedly warned Aleman not to entertain other men or allow them to approach her.
Off the Yacht
Deen kicks Aleman off the yacht. She gets off the boat. The confrontation moves to the dock.
The Grab
According to the police report, Deen grabbed Aleman's forearm and attempted to snatch her phone. Cops say Ring camera footage from the property shows Deen yelling for someone to grab the phone and make sure she wasn't recording him. Aleman curled on the ground trying to stop him before eventually breaking free.
Arrested ~4AM
Miami Beach police arrive. Deen is taken into custody on a felony charge of robbery/strongarm/attempt. His attorney releases a statement: "Mr. Shabazz has had a target on his back for some time now by people wishing to make a name for themselves off of his hard work."
Not Guilty
Deen formally enters a written not guilty plea. His attorney demands a jury trial and requests discovery. A second statement: "Mr. Shabazz denies the allegations and intends to vigorously defend himself through the legal process."
The Adrien Broner Yacht Encounter — What Was Captured on Stream
Earlier the same week — during what was being livestreamed as the "Vegas Takeover" and Miami leg of the Broner/Deen streaming run — viewers watched Adrien Broner on the rented yacht attempting to strike up a conversation with a young woman. The woman, visible on screen, appeared visibly uninterested in Broner's attempts to get to know her. Her body language — the turned shoulders, the clipped responses, the physical distance she maintained — told a story that the 15,000+ viewers watching picked up on immediately. The chat section was not kind. The moment became a clip. Broner's team has not publicly addressed the exchange.
He told her not to entertain anyone else.
Then the camera was still rolling.
It always is.

The Pattern the IRL Streaming World Cannot Ignore
DeenTheGreat's Miami arrest is not an isolated incident. It is the latest entry in a growing ledger of IRL streaming consequences that the culture keeps watching — and that the streamers themselves keep generating. Consider the recent history:
Johnny Somali
Sentenced · South Korea · Obstruction + Sexual Violence Act violations
Currently incarcerated in South Korea after livestreaming himself harassing locals. His audience watched the entire arrest. The clips went viral. He is still in a South Korean prison.
Chud the Builder
Arrested Live · Tennessee · Attempted Murder · $1.25M Bond
IRL streamer Dalton Eatherly — "Chud the Builder" — was arrested live on stream outside a Tennessee courthouse after shooting a man during a brawl. His audience watched it happen in real time. Bond set at $1.25 million. Supporters have raised $200K+ online — money he can't touch until he's released.
Clavicular
Multiple 2026 Arrests · Battery · Drugs · Fake ID · Shot an Alligator Live
Braden Peters — "Clavicular" — a 20-year-old looksmaxxing influencer and Kick streamer earning $100K+ per month, has been arrested on felony drug and fake ID charges in Scottsdale, battery charges in Fort Lauderdale, sued for battery and fraud by a teen influencer in Miami, investigated by Florida Fish & Wildlife for shooting an alligator on stream, and overdosed live on camera at a Miami mall. He told his audience he "can't IRL stream anymore" after the overdose. He was back on stream within weeks.
DeenTheGreat
Arrested · Miami · Felony Strong-Arm Robbery Attempt
Got knocked out by Rampage Jackson on stream. Got slapped by Larry Wheels on stream for grabbing Wheels' wife. Now arrested in Miami for grabbing a woman's phone on a yacht. 30K people watched each time.
The pattern is the same every time. The camera is rolling. The audience is watching. The streamer — chasing the clip, chasing the reaction, chasing the 30,000 concurrent viewers — does something that crosses a line the law recognizes even when the stream chat does not. And then the handcuffs come out. The platform keeps the content. The sponsors keep the ad revenue. The streamer goes to the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
DonJuanDMack is the Editor of HipHopCitizen.com. Sources: TMZ (first and second reports), Local10 News (WPLG), Distractify, The Shade Room, NBC Miami, StreetAddictz. DeenTheGreat has pleaded not guilty. All charges are allegations. Adrien Broner has not been charged with any crime.
Is IRL Streaming Worth the Risk? The Culture Needs to Decide.
DeenTheGreat is in Miami-Dade. The camera was rolling the whole time. Was this inevitable? Does the audience bear any responsibility for what streamers do to get their reactions?
